If you're anything like me you've been planning your dream wedding since you were little. Dreaming about the cake, the dress, the colors, everything. And for me I've spent hours thinking of the perfect flowers for the day. My job as a wedding florist is to make that dream into a reality.
What to Expect
Most of the time, the best place to start is a complimentary wedding consultation. Here we can go over colors, designs, pricing, and flower availability. Some seasons have special flowers, and due to the global flower shortage it can be hard to get certain products. Another way to help your florist out is to come with inspiration pictures. Having a visual of what you're looking for in a bouquet is SO helpful.
Design and Amounts
One of the major elements of your wedding flowers will be the design. Some people go for a more traditional look and others want something trendy or a little more natural. Here are a few examples of styles for wedding bouquets. (Taken from Pinterest) There is no right or wrong here! It is your day and your flowers should be the way you want them!
Another thing to consider when planning your wedding flowers is how much, and of what? What I mean by this is thinking about whether you will give your bridesmaids flowers, have then men wear boutineers, give the moms corsages, and whether or not you will have arches or centerpieces at your ceremony or reception. These are important to note because it will help your florist give you a more accurate estimate.
The Big Day
As a bride (or the family), you have a lot to handle on your wedding day! So, we try to make it as easy as possible for you! We ask for the schedule of the day before hand so we know where to be and when! If we need to coordinate with family members (for things such as temple walk outs) we can do so before hand so you won't have anything to worry about that day! You're wedding should be as close to perfect as possible and we are committed to do everything in our power to make your florals perfect for your special day!
